You know what it feels like to be sleep deprived. You feel sluggish, become much more irritable and generally feel absolutely terrible. Even small everyday tasks become harder.
But beside from these gritty side effects, most of us aren’t aware of the dangers of sleep deprivation. For example, you wouldn’t drive a car drunk, but you probably wouldn’t think twice about driving a car when you feel sleepy. We give our bodies enough food and water to function properly, but do we pay as much attention to ensuring we get enough sleep?
